St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Facial Scrub
I am a major fan of St. Ives. I think I still have empty bottles of St.Ives Lotion. I really love the consistency of their lotions! The smell is very soothing and it really gives out a lot of moisture.
Knowing St.Ives, I've decided to try on their facial scrub. This one is for people with acne. They claimed to prevent any blemishes and to minimize the pores. I don't have any acne anymore but the poor traumatized me still wanted to buy stuff to get rid of and avoid pimples.I always use this after washing my face with Celeteque Gentle Exfoliating Facial Wash. I only use this every two days. Like the St. Ives lotion, the scent of this facial scrub is really nice. Also, I really love buying skin care products with Apricot in it. I just love the smell!
Unfortunately, I noticed some flesh colored bumps on my face.I don't know if it's because of the fragrance or over-scrubbing but I'm pretty sure it's not acne. It might be clogged pores?
*Pros*
- not too drying
- nice scent
- budget friendly! It comes in small tubes too!
- Does not break me out
*Cons*
- I don't see any effect on my pores.
- I noticed some flesh colored bumps on my forehead and my cheeks~ (maybe because of over-scrubbing)
- It has Parfum/Fragrance which I really hate a lot! My dermatologist told me to avoid products with fragrance since it can irritate my skin. (Sorry Dr!)
Thank you very much for reading! Don’t forget to like, tweet or share :*
P.S.
This is not a sponsored/paid review. I bought this item using my own money.
